Physiotherapy in the City of London, at Monument
Chartered physiotherapy at 36 St Mary at Hill, EC3R, a few minutes from Monument and Bank. Before work, at lunch or after hours, with your health insurance or self-pay.
City physiotherapy that fits around your working day
If you work in the Square Mile, you rarely have time to deal with pain, so it tends to get worse. Long hours at a desk, a commute through London Bridge and a training plan squeezed into the evenings all take their toll.
Our Monument clinic is set up for exactly that. Appointments are close to the office and fit around meetings. Every session is with an HCPC-registered Chartered Physiotherapist who will diagnose the problem properly and give you a plan you can actually stick to.
The clinic is on St Mary at Hill, between Eastcheap and Lower Thames Street. It's easy to reach from Bank, Leadenhall, Tower Hill, London Bridge and Canary Wharf via the DLR.

Most City employers include private medical insurance, and most policies cover outpatient physiotherapy. Many people never use it. We're registered with major insurers such as AXA and Aviva. If your policy covers outpatient physiotherapy, you may not need to pay anything yourself, apart from any excess on your policy.
Ask your insurer for an authorisation number for physiotherapy with Remedly. Your employee benefits portal or app often lets you do this online. Some insurers also need a GP or specialist referral.
Book with us and we'll send you a form to fill out your insurer, membership number and authorisation number.
Come to your appointment. Where we're registered with your insurer, we invoice them directly.

City of London Physiotherapy: Common Questions
Can I claim on my company health insurance?
Yes, in most cases. We're registered with major insurers like AXA. Before your first appointment, you'll need an authorisation number from your insurer, as well as details such as the total number of sessions authorised. Some insurers we can invoice directly whilst others such as cash plan insurers, you pay us and get reimbursed. It's important to understand your insurance policy.
How much does physiotherapy cost at your Monument clinic?
A standard initial physiotherapy clinic assessment and treatment costs £145 and lasts up to 45 minutes. A standard follow up costs £95 and lasts up to 30 minutes. These are self-paying prices. Self-paying clients have the option to choose an extended initial or follow up session of 60 - 90 minutes which start from £195. An extended session is useful if for example you have more than one body part to be treated.
Can I mix home visits with clinic or virtual sessions?
Yes - your rehabilitation programme can combine home, clinic and virtual sessions in whatever way suits your life and clinical needs. Many clients prefer home visits or clinic sessions for hands-on treatment and virtual sessions for exercise coaching, progress checks or weeks when travel isn't possible. It's your programme - we build it around you.
Do you have a West End clinic too?
Yes. Our Belgravia clinic at 9 Eccleston Street, SW1W, is a short walk from Victoria and Sloane Square.
How quickly can I get a physiotherapy clinic appointment at Monument?
Once you have requested an appointment, we aim to get back to you within 48 hours. The date and time of your appointment will then depend on yours and your clinician's availability. Sometimes, same-day appointments may be available. Call us directly on 0330 133 5996 for urgent requests.
Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist in Monument?
No, not if you're paying yourself. Some insurers ask for a GP or specialist referral before they'll authorise treatment, so check with them first.
If I don't get a report, do I still get a treatment plan?
Absolutely - every initial assessment includes a clear working diagnosis and personalised treatment plan regardless of whether you add the written report (separate cost £150). We recommend the report for clients who need to use our assessment alongside existing care e.g. with a private doctor - without starting from scratch. It's yours to keep and take anywhere.
Is the clinic accessible?
If stairs or travel are difficult, this may not be ideal. We can treat you at home anywhere in Central London instead.
Do you offer early morning or evening appointments?
Yes, appointments run from 8am to 8pm Monday to Sunday across our services in clinic, at home, online and at work. In some cases, we can work out of hours to accommodate your schedule.
